"Chromosomes" are not a magic bullet against the concept of being trans. Trans people are trans precisely because there's a disparity between their gender identity and the gender assigned at birth on the basis of a multiplicity of factors which sometimes include chromosomes.

No and no, but then again, those factors are not the sole arbiters of whether one is a man, a woman or otherwise. Many cis women don't have ovaries, and chromosomes aren't a perfect binary.

I dunno dudes. Why should they even care for gender? It's a homeless shelter, not non-transgender exclusive club or something, so... this is just plain illogical.

Maybe significant other of that guy from Trump's administration, who is behind this thingy had some sort of affair with a transgender or something... May sound stupid, but such things happened before.

Okay, if this whole thing is actually legit, I believe this is wrong. Shelters are for everyone, it shouldn't matter what your belief, gender, sexuality, religion, etc is .
Me personally, I am skeptical about transgenders, for religious reasons, but it is their personal right to be respected and live their lives the way they want to. If they wanna identify as another gender let em be.

However, I am not saying there should be no regulation, there is a small majority of people who abuse the transgender alias just to get in kahoots with the other sex, which is indeed a disgrace to ACTUAL transgenders.

So in conclusion, let transgenders do their thing without being a dick to them, pls, we can be decent people for like five minutes if we really try.
