Personally, I hope Medvedov makes it. I know that Medvedov has a bad rap among hardcore Putinists, but I think his brief presidency showed promise. Election reform, economic modernisation, normalisation of diplomacy, etc. I think all these things are possible under Medvedov, albeit with resistance from the siloviki.
