I don't really consider it a holy text, most of us don't really claim to have anything like that really. Indeed large parts of interpretation are often left up to the individual practitioner because sadly most of us aren't in formal groups.

Besides English I very casually dabble in Akkadian/Babylonian on a purely recreational and historical interest basis but little more, besides a decent bit of Latin cuz I use RWDT and honestly if you don't want to destroy Carthage do you even belong here

You can learn the Greek alphabet in an hour, then you could pronounce it, although I don't know if saying canonical prayers untranslated is required in Greek paganism as in Islam.

The Greek alphabet is easy (and by extension Cyrillic and Coptic), the verb conjugation is the part that'll get you.

Yes I know English is just a bastard child of old North German, Latin, with French and a bunch of other stuff thrown in. But I am not pretentious about it. English is not some pure unchanging perfect language. It is a mess, but works and is a lot of fun.
