"IdPol" as you call it is not likely to ever die out, and honestly I don't think it'll lead to anything more than the level of civil disturbance there was during the civil rights movement. It is the natural continuation of that after all.

Although of course, it may not be Shariah, America does nevertheless have a big enduring influence on many countries in the world. America in part, inspired the French Revolution, which that in turn, inspired modern day liberal democracy. While none of these are in accordance to the Quran or Sunnah, it has, as a non-Islamic system, been able to work and keep stability in nations for a long time. Of course, it has its flaws too, but generally, it helps to keep nations and peoples together.

Also, I don't think "American", "Canadian", etc have lost any meaning just because anyone who here can become said denonym. If anything it enhances it. You can come from anywhere and everywhere and be accepted into this country. You could be rich, poor, white, black, Muslim, Jewish, Buddhist, and still be accepted into wider society for the most part. Yes, America has serious problems but I believe that quote on the statue of liberty is a great redeeming quality of the United States. They or their children are gonna grow up in American culture so how would they not be American?

Well, if it makes you feel any better, I do believe that states should be allowed to do more on their own. I draw the line with states actively working against national stability. I.E. writing their own immigration policy, printing their own money, raising their own military, etc.
