I think you should care about the law against annexing countries. I thought the far-right was all about staying isolationist, and not fighting meaningless wars and not invading everywhere.

I'm not an Alt-Righter. It really bothers me how much perception of what being Far Right is comes from the likes of Heimbach or Spencer; I believe in expansionism for one great example and I find White Nationalism to be stupid as a concept.

Depends on the exact policy area. Social Policy I'm definitely the one furthest out there here.

The assumption that their ethno-state will just magically fix everything is naive, at best, and genocidal in practice if put to use while likely failing to achieve much beyond reducing their tax bills.

As for expansionism, it's firmly rooted in historical policy for most states. Adding resources, industry, labor and such things tend to dramatically increase the power of your state most obviously.

In 2002 the Brookings Institution estimated $20 Billion a year for 10 years would achieve the infrastructure buildup needed to really boost Mexico's economy; given inflation, it's around $30 Billion now.

Italy, which had to tackle its own issues in terms of corruption and organized crime, spends 6.2% of its GDP on law enforcement. The U.N. Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) found that, per 100,000 people, Mexico had just 6.8 prosecutors and 4.2 judges in 2013. This is compared to Italy with 3.1 prosecutors and 17.1 judges, while even Scotland has 9.9 prosecutors and 4.9 judges per 100,000. Adding to this issue is the fact that between 2006 and 2015, the number of Federal police increased from 11,663 to 43,724 but real wages only rose 9%.

If it's really that big an issue for you, back in 1991 Este Pais did a poll of Mexicans that found 59% supported joining the United States. A follow on poll in 1999 found this support had endured. I have no idea if additional polling has been done since then, with the closest thing I know being Pew finding in 2015 that a third of Mexicans would move to the United States if they could.
