In the long term, Christianity can't really sustain itself past that without state persecution. It's in heavy decline in Europe and North America now that religious persecution is illegal. In a few centuries, it'll have reverted back to "strong minority religion" levels.

Which doesn't explain why Christianity is increasing in Asia and Africa. Also, I ask you to find proof that the decline in Christianity is because religious persecution is illegal. I would think that secular humanism is more of a cause, especially since the decline is fairly recent.

It’s not just secular humanism, although that’s part of it. Education, healthcare, stability and greater wealth for most people plays a part as well.

Can we not talk about consent between slaves and their masters? I think that any such consent is suspect and that the power imbalance means that masters should not have sex with their slaves (much the same way teachers can not have sex with students, even if the students are of age), but it's such a tiresome topic that goes nowhere. Amin isn't going to agree.
