Pretty sure Scalia was still gone tho... So she would have had at least two, unless Kennedy tried to stick it out to prevent her from getting it.

The only reason why Kennedy retired is that he and Trump hashed out some kind of deal behind closed doors, which resulted in Kavanaugh (a former clerk for Kennedy) being appointed.

Maybe, maybe not.

Either way, there is no timeline where Kennedy shows the same level of cooperation to Clinton.

If she manages to limp on until 2365 folks would need convincing that she's a person.

You mean Cyborg Ginsberg can’t sit on the court?

Not familiar with any relevant laws, but I personally wish she wouldn't.

Probably not, point is really moot though I guess, as even if Kennedy had managed through, -1 is still worse than +1

Speaking of which, California is planning on annexing Oregon.

It is my Bill Gates-given duty to object several hours late.

Can you go ahead and blitz Washington too? Thanks.

Oh, and while you’re at it, BC too.

Anyway ... There's talk now that Hickenlooper will drop out of the presidential primary race and land on Corey Gardner's head in the 2020 Colorado Senate race.

Hopefully she'll end up retiring soon enough.

I hope she stays alive and on the court until Bernie is sworn in.

She's already on the court, never being on the court is no longer an option.

Needless to say, the Democrats would do better on women's health issues than Trump or most Republicans in my opinion though allowing abortion to be the deciding issue is pretty ridiculous in my mind.

It's the invasion Trump talks about, it's a Yuge deal, believe me! :p

Maybe? :p

But in other news, two big things:

First, Stacey Abrams unveils her 2020 plans, which don't include presidential bid; she'll be working on voting rights instead and she said she'll be open to be considered a VP nominee for any of the candidates. While I think a normal election could her as a good VP, I don't in this current political environment she would be the right choice. She should have run for the Senate instead with a focus on voting rights. Eh, I'm sure Democrats aren't happy about the fact she ain't running.

Second and more importantly, Hickenlooper is considering dropping out of the Presidential Race to run for the Senate instead.

He would likely be the nominee for the Democrats on the Senate and has a good chance of winning. This is bound to make Democrats happy.

The Hickenlooper news is good. Gardner is very vulnerable in Colorado. Hickenlooper is a popular governor and could unseat him. Allot of Dems running right now and utterly shiting the bed in polls should drop out and run for senate. Beto and Bullock would be perfect examples.

Or maybe Castro for Texas. However, I don't see Democrats taking Texas regardless though they can shorten those margins, which would be a win for them and cause the GOP to scream bloody murder. Bullock? Yeah, he most certainly can win a Senate seat but ego man, ego! I'm sure he'll realize this soon enough.
