I'd gladly pay the people creating the emulators, there pretty cool and do a lot of really hard work.
Sounds fine to me.

Oh, and that, I should have worded myself better. Good luck playing online Nintendo games on PC.

Society just needs to pull the electric plug and no more PC's or consoles. Some of those modern ones especially like to eat power like there is no tomorrow.

They do hard work? Yes, they do. But that doesn't mean it's morally right to port games illegally.
Each to their own, I guess. For me, ths fun comes in an Online form. I have sank more than 3000 hours on Splatoon 1 and 2.

If a company wants to lock games out of the PC market because it has so little faith in their consule then that's the company's problem.

It's not having no faith in their console, and it's not the company's problem, it's called "Business". It's a dick move to illegally port a game to PC because you're too much of a cheap person to buy a console that has the game you want to play.

If the original developers don't want to take my money than its not morally wrong for me not to force them. The dick move is trying to force us to jump through hoops just so that we can give THEM our money.

Then again, it's business, pirating games, at least in my opinion, is a dick move. It's called business, business creates competition between different companies, and competition creates better games. That's at least how I see it.

They could make more money selling games on both PC and their consule. If they want to restrict their market reach and refuse to take my money fine by me.

If they did that, the console market would quickly die (Which would be a pretty big blow to every company that focuses on games and consoles). Assuming that consoles didn't die, that's fine and dandy, go play your PC games, but if those games aren't available on PC, it just feels like a dick move to me to rob a company of it's money.

It's not robbery. If a company is not trying to enter a market, grey and black market dealings are A-OK. If they don't enter it and lose money, it's their fault.
Companies are here to serve us, not the other way around.

And pirating games that don't get ported to the PC serves to demonstrate to those businesses that there is demand for their product on the PC market and thus incentivizes them to expand into said market. Thus everybody wins in the long run.

As long as it brings the release date of Splatoon 3 closer then fine by me lol. But as of now, pirating games is still illegal and a dick move imo

To shut the piracy wingnuts up.
If you own a copy of the game for console then you have a legal right to use an emulator to play it on your computer.
If you never bought the game and download ROMS for it then it is indeed piracy.
All that put aside I’m putting my vote for PS3 PS4 and Nintendo Switch on the board.
Not a huge fan of Xbox. For how expensive it is and game pricing I’ll just use my gaming PC & Steam. Then I don’t have to deal with the wonky Xbox controller, I can use whatever controller I want.
As a person who grew up on Sega Genesis NES and small form factor controllers I prefer the Sony PS3 controller for use on my gaming PC.
If I had to select just one console to crown as the best console out there I’d vote Ps4

PC Master race is where its at. Consoles are crap imo. You can't browse the internet, order things off of amazon or (most importantly) use NS!
