Because the initial NPN became associated with far-right parties NSB and NSDAP in the '30s and '40s. PM Legtenberg further announced that the Netherlands wil also be a Federal Republic from 1 January 2024. And that he will become the first President of the Netherlands. - There must be meat on it. Lots of it. A meal without meat is a snack and not a proper meal.
- Also mushrooms. Mushrooms make the world go round.
- The crust should be relatively thin and crispy but NOT so thin that the thing turns into a biscuit. There needs to be some flesh to it, so to speak.
- The crust must be hand made and feel that way. And this must be done by someone who is good at hand making doe.
- Wood burning ovens are a plus but entirely optional.
- The ingredients must all be of high quality. I am not saying you need to pay 1000 euro for a slice of salami. But if you buy cheapo meat and processed cheese you'll get what you pay for.
- Avoid anyone who will sell you pizza as fast food. Or anything else for that matter. Speed might be armor but quality food requires time and love.
Purpelia does not reflect my actual world views. In fact, the vast majority of Purpelian cannon is meant to shock and thus deliberately insane. I like greasy pizzas. Not sure why. They just have an appeal to me. I always find pizzas from local joints to be a lot greasier than one you’d get at, say, Pizza Hut, so I’ll end up preferring the local place. Also, stuffed crusts are godly.

It all depends on the ingredients used and the skill of the chef making it, really. I find that fresh ingredients make for better tasting pizza, and my personal preference is for deep dish.

Haven't had one from a takeaway- usually resort to the frozen/chilled supermarket thang as they're cheap.

Back in the day tho' - when I had a bit more disposable income and a bellyful of ale I'd tried a few takeaways until I ventured to one slightly off the main drag- and it wasn't your usual bog standard(although ok in their own way) base- and that makes a world of difference- it was soft, a tad floppy, and a revelation- looked a bit like the op's but just done in one of those electric pizza oven inspite of this drawback it was superb.

It has to be thin crust as the balance between the base and the filling is just right. Thick crust overwhelms the filling and stuffed crust is an abomination. Another abomination is having a load of donner meat slapped on the top- but when you're young and pissed as a fart it can seem so right.

"Ananas" comes from the Tupi family of languages in South America and means "really great fruit that should definitely be on pizza, whatever that is." *nod* Really.

No. Pineapple is too sweet and too sour for pizza, and a plague upon the house of the first idiot to have decided that making a pizza Hawaiian was a simple matter of putting ham and pineapple on it.

No fruit really ever belongs on pizza unless it's one of those "desert pizza" cookie things. Or Haribo.

Frankly, if you put some melted cheese on a pineapple and told me it was a pizza, I wouldn't argue with you about it because I just love pineapple so much. I would eat it all without a word. If you put some rings of pineapple on a piece of warm bread and told me it was pineapple pizza i'd eat that too because of how tasty pineapple is. Pizza's good, but pineapple pizza is the best pizza. The sweetness and sharpness of the pineapple are the best flavours to accompany the cheese and tomato sauce. I like stuffed crust pizzas, but the stuffing on the crust that's my favourite is pineapple jam. I stuff it in the crusts so that when I bite down the hot pineapple slime explodes into my mouth like a tangy firework. What make's a good pizza? L'ananas. That's French for pineapple. It's so good on pizza.

I feel strangely very honored by your kind words.
