Square pizza is like what they serve in school cafeterias. Probably because round cardboard sheets aren't as common as rectangular ones.

I don’t know if they did this at other schools, but at mine they served pizza with corn and/or applesauce for some reason. Which is a really weird combo IMO, but still not as weird as the time some genius in the kitchen decided it would be a great idea to make American-style goulash, but skimp on the sauce so it was basically just dry, chewy elbow macaroni and chunks of ground beef.
