Not entirelytrue. When looking at % of all people killed by police who are white vs. white % of total population, then yes, white people as a whole are less likely to be killed by police. But this doesn't tell you much.

However, when you breakdown the racial demographics of America's criminal population, white criminals are actually overrepresented in police shootings when compared to black criminals. The reason why black people in general have more police interactions is because they are more likely to be criminals.

Supply and demand. It is illegal for banks to discriminate based on race, and given how touchy they are about regulation and losing their licenses, banks take this very seriously. They go to great lengths to ensure that there is no discrimination. What they do instead, however, is develop customer profiles that try to find patterns between certain characteristics and the likelihood of default. These are race neutral characteristics. What the data shows, however, is that black people are more likely to have characteristics that tend predict loan default, hence their higher denial rates. That's not the fault of anybody, that's just supply and demand.

For job applications, culture fits are often found to be the strongest determining factor of whether or not one is hired. People tend to hire those they will most likely get along with. Make of that what you will.

If a group of people defined by any characteristic (be it age, gender, race, religion or whatever) are less statistically likely to commit crimes, or more likely to hold a steady income, and you act on those likelihoods, that's not privilege.

White people commit less crime so they get treated better by the cops.
White and Asian people are usually more reliable debtors, so they get better loan approval rates.
Job applications are a tricky one because that's down to the personal view of the person making the call, and I doubt there would be a single statistic to back that up, so it's bs.
