If you think about it, not really off topic. The ideas of alpha and beta males existing are probably preconceived ideas many people heard of at home. Be it from parents or other family members. Education on the subject to either minimize or eradicate this idea so it stops harming others is key.

I do regret to inform you that, typically physically fit males possess more confidence (which may be viewed as being an "asshole") and therefore are typically more attractive to females. Hetero females typically like men that are physically fit and sure of themselves, "Alpha" isn't necessarily a good term for them, as we are more closely related to primates than any other animal. Curiously; we share many similarities with Bonobos, chimpanzees, and Gorilla's in terms of social interactions! With the exception of Bonobos, these primate societies are all patriarchal meaning that the largest, and most adept male is charged with protecting, leading, procreating, and sharing with the females and lesser males. Females in these societies are often more or less loyal to the Silverback or dominate male, for not only attractiveness; but also the higher chance of offspring survival.
We aren't apes, but we're damn close. If you're so worried about being a "beta cuck" then change that about yourself. It's all up to you my man, and don't sweat the women, they'll be one who's smart enough to see your worth. Lift a few weights, get out in the sun, eat a fat steak. Drive on and be you brother!

It's worth noting that in chimp societies, it's the most aggressive male who can cooperate with beta males that maintains alpha status. Purely aggressive, abusive males get killed by coalitions of weaker males.

Also worth noting that we're also extremely closely related to bonobos as well as chimps, and most of the time we're honestly more like them than chimps- we retain that chimplike capability to plan and execute very intense violence when we feel we need to, but most of the time we live quite peacefully with one another in enormous groups and in very close proximity, in a way that few other mammals of any sort (much less other apes) can manage to do.

In superficial terms, yes, in the same way as a "Goth" might exist, but that usually isn't the totality of their being and they're actually quite a bit more complex than that.

If you showed me a string of pictures I could seperate them into these groups based on their looks, but it wouldn't be an accurate summation of them. Some of the alphas would be quite boring and tedious and so on.

Physical attractiveness is a good headstart right out of the gate, but it isn't the be all and end all. Even on Tinder, getting matches based on your looks only leads to conversation at first and if you flub that, you're out. On Tinder, the dynamic is probably worst for people because of the initial gatekeeping mechanism.

The way you carry yourself has a lot to do with attractiveness too, probably more than physical attraction. A good laugh and a good smile are better than a good jawline.

I'd say Tinder is the closest you get to real life alpha and beta dynamics.

I do believe it exists but not in the way most people expect it is all based on relative terms. I never believed that an "alpha" is defined by being the most outspoken, aggressive, etc perhaps in one situation but it would be like taking a world champion in one sport and throwing them into a world championship for a sport they have never done before, chances are they would do terrible so they may be an alpha on one front but clearly not another.

As for my personal situation, in my society I would be considered a beta since I never liked to make lots of noise I always prefer to get things done quietly and without hassle and that hasn't done me a million favours in life so far but I don't really care if I were to become to like the others around me then from my perspective I would become just as bad as them so I have my dignity even if I don't fit the "desired" type of person in society.
(This is based off my personal experience of so called "alphas" I have met in my life not all were bad people but a few are so I don't say this as a prejudice against anyone).
