I have a suspicion the only reason any woman goes after them (other than the intimidation factor) is because society conditions them into thinking they are their "ideal" partners, in much the same way that society conditions men into thinking a blonde haired, blue eyed, lightly tanned, skimpily-clad woman with DD breasts is their "ideal" partner.

I openly admit that up until I was in 10th grade, I used to be sexist, and I did resent women (but only the ones I found attractive, I viewed the 'unattractive' ones as being not worth my attention at all) for not being into me like they were with the 'big buff jocks'. I would say it definitely exists. Just like the "friend zone" exists. Only I have to clarify that none of this stuff exists in any literal sense, it is more metaphor. These are primarily just derogatory situations for people to find themselves in. Someone can become more "alpha" just as someone's tendency can be more "beta." Someone who's waited too long to make their feelings toward someone clear, is more likely to be "just friends" with them at best.

It doesn't necessarily have to be a physical thing to be recognized as apart of what's observed or common to real life.

No, I don't. And the sweeping majority of people who propagate this garbage have done more than enough to prove that they are suffering from some very serious mental issues. If I were king of the world for a day, I would send them to the ward. Not out of spite per se, but because I think they are genuinely so screwed up that professional help in an isolated environment is the only course of action could have any beneficial impact on their lives. Before they become a danger to both themselves and others.

With the heavy amount of criminal cases and even terrorism associated with incels, I don't see why we should look at them any different than we would with pedophiles or psychopaths.
