Maybe with advanced technology, we can use them to be a bystander in our homes in case there’s a robbery, then get them to explain how the robber’s face look like.

I’m just kidding, there’s already CCTVs. Though it’s an interesting concept, you gotta admit.

The British army once nuked a tank, and when the machine survived the blast they decided to use it as training vehicle.

If you're under fire in the no-man's land of WW1, you start digging a foxhole even if the ideal time would be when you *aren't* being bombarded, because once you wait for it to be 'time', other situations will need your attention, assuming you survive that long. Hmmm ... makes sense. If you have to walk from one set of tracks to another, like at Grand Central, that's more than one station.

Archaeology in the Olmec area is hard; jungle terrain and rain erosion aside, the acidic pH value of the soil there dissolves human remains and even otherwise sturdy materials like ceramics.

Some people think that the "correct" way of saying Barcelona is something like "Barthelona", as that is how it is said in Spanish, but since population of Barcelona is predominantly Catalan rather than Spanish, and since the Catalans say Barcelona with a similar sound as English speakers do, the conventional way of pronouncing Barcelona is actually more correct

A turtle's shell has two scientific names.

First is the shell itself, called the carapace. The turtle's belly and underside of the shell is called the plastron. The carapace of every turtle's shell is divided into multiple bony plates called "scutes". Almost every turtle known to science has exactly thirteen scutes.
