Again though, how would this concept happen though if not through government means? Unless there are going to be news networks fighting to eliminate each other in which case....I approve.

How can news networks get on air if all services refuse to air them due to popular demand? Cable TV services dont have to pick up channels, and if they do it needs to be dropped.

That makes sense. Certainly don't support basically making the news one sided propaganda though through blatant discrimination.

And trust me, I would love to take advantage of that.
Considering I see a plethora of news networks across the spectrum, I don't see why I should be concerned.
Oppression of opposing ideas and speech is okay, as long as it is not being done be something you personally dislike I guess.

However, humans will always be biased and as such, News organizations will always have biases. To interpret the news nowadays, I believe the general public ought to look at multiple sources of both supporting and dissenting viewpoints. Not only this but the reader ought to engage in personal research into newsworthy events to better grasp and understand what is being reported on. This allows for consumers of news to develop their own thoughts and beliefs with a bigger picture than say if they were to simply watch one news source.
On a side note, what are peoples' thoughts on subscription based news services like the Wall Street Journal? Do you believe they are less biased/more biased than other news organizations such as Fox News or CNN?
