How am i misstating the use?

If the disease is extinct; there isn't a need for the vaccine anymore. Small pox is extinct. We don't give out the vaccines anymore. That ended 48 years ago.

Then why are we talking about it?

Body autonomy brought measles back to the US.

I disagree. Can you prove it?

This isn't particularly hard. We didn't force people to get vaccinated, so some groups of people didn't get vaccinated. The groups of people that aren't vaccinated against measles are mostly the groups that have measles. The correlation here is pretty clear.

Ohhh. Are you arguing from the "convince me" approach? The fact you keep asking the same questions and making the same statements kind of suggest it.

Those tend to be a waste of breath.

How can you say that they dont exist are you blind? Please explain how they dont exist

Please explain how they do? Injecting someone with a dead virus doesn't bring the virus back to life. 15-18 months is less than 2 years. Every "gotcha" you point to is just you not understanding what you're talking about.

FTFY.

Anti-vaxxers hold a dangerous, minority view. A view that leads to the deaths and injury of their children, to the deaths and injury of those who cannot be vaccinated for medical reasons, and weakens herd immunity for everyone else.

From my experience its quite the other way around.

Never thought there would be actual anti-vaxxers on NSG. Rather sad huh?

Your experience is wrong. The two largest outbreaks in the last 10 years were in 2014 and this year.

The 2014 outbreak was concentrated in the Amish community which did not vaccinate, and the current outbreak is concentrated in the Orthodox Jewish community, which did not vaccinate.

You said there were contradictions. What are they? Where are they? Because if you didn't mean the above, then no contradictions exist, and your "gotcha" points were completely meaningless.

Yes some of us do hold a view that vaccines are dangerous. A thing that can kill thousands of people

Thousands?

Vaccines are very well tolerated, and definitely better than the potentially fatal risks of diseases like measles.

Bring me evidence to prove otherwise. Official sources (government websites, health sources, medical journals), not eek-vaccines-will-kill-you.com

According to https://www.answers.com/Q/What_do_vaccines_contain vaccines contain weakened or dead version of what its supposed to prevent.

So you are saying you believe injecting weakened or dead disease should be mandatory because bringing back dead diseases is bad.

Huh?

It is so your immune system develops antibodies to fight the infection, so a full blown strain of the pathogen later on doesn't cause as much damage/get you sick. Vaccines are safe, and your source admits that the weakened pathogen cannot cause the disease. There's no contradiction, and it seems like you're trying to invent one.

I think most anti-vaxers dont say anything because you people put words in our mouths and many of the ones who do say things and have blogs and stuff get shut down by the government

So we're just supposed to take your word for it that vaccines have killed thousands of people. Based on no evidence.

It might be worth considering that anti-vaxxer stuff is on (mostly) anonymous blogs, run by Mummy Bloggers with zero medical training and no oversight; meanwhile articles in favour of vaccines is found in highly-respected medical journals, run by experienced scientists with degrees up to their armpits and high editorial standards.

To me, that suggests that the burden of proof has always been on those in favour of vaccines (Mummy Bloggers just need a Google account; not any credentials). Those who believe in vaccination have met that burden of proof consistently.

If any anti-vaxxer would like to provide actual scientific evidence for their theory, there's a whole scientific community of journals waiting to offer scrutiny. I believe said journals will keep waiting.
