The Russian population has been shrinking every year. What caused this to occur was World War II when 26 Million Soviet people including soldiers have lost their lives to the German war machine, Stalin's Not one step back policy and Nazi atrocities. The population of Bangladesh which is about the same size as Washington State has 168 Million inhabitants while Russia has 146.8 Million. The overall poor health of men and geographical climate barriers hinder's Russia the ability to grow it's population. I got this inspiration and information by this video which made me thought of this question.

So-

If we were to just throw out Vladimir Putin for a second and replace him with you, how will you handle Russia's demographic crisis?

You see, back in those days, Singapore had quite a population boom that the government stepped in and enacted this "Stop at Two" policy. It's not where you will get arrested for having more than 2 children; just that you won't get the benefits. Let's say it worked effectively... too effectively.

So the government had to stop that and encourage people to make love with one another... including printing tips and advices on the best place to make love in a car; I think it was back in the late 80s or the 90s.

Russia can certainly try that, though at the same time, I will say that not just the Russians, but the less population the better? We are getting a little too cramped up, unless we can somehow find a way to get all those sweet, sweet seas to become our homes.

I would say my solution would be to make sex-incentives for married couples and to raise the price of alcohol. (and possibly an abortion ban although Idk about that one)

Russia has an immigration thing though, Russia is the land of Russians. for Bangladeshis to live in Russia they have to be Russified, meaning absorbed into Russia's etiquette and language

Why?

Lot's of men in Russia barely live to the age of 60 years Old because of rapid alcohol consumption. They literally die because of alcoholism.
Because of that and WWII, There are 8 Russian men for every 10 Russian women.

Restricting alcohol wouldn't help, if the demand still exists people won't stop producing a supply of it, and since now it would be heavily restricted it would make alcohol even stronger

The government itself doesn't care, so why should we? Don't worry, they will keep invading Ukraine to even things out.

That entirely defeats the purpose of solving the demographic crisis and for the record the Russian government is tackling this issue (they are not idiots, else how did they manage to maintain a country this big?) And of course they don't want to govern a wasteland with no one but bears, other animals and cathedrals.
