This is a false equivalency if I've ever heard one. The only reason Roosevelt continued talking was because he realised the bullet wasn't fatal or immediately critical, since he wasn't coughing up blood. Not to forget that this conservative professor also continued talking, and took the heckling in good spirit.

Frankly I think that this sort of assault for such moderate views (men are not women, but they're equal, fucking duh) is unacceptable and petty. If he was a fascist, sure go ahead, but he wasn't.

Biological sex does exist and is a scientific fact, much to the chagrim of some fellow leftie identitarians here and those "Sex is just a social construct and therefore science is false!1!1!1" proponents. It's even outright stated in innumerable biological textbooks and wikipedia itself that you cannot change one's chromosome by sheer will or by surgically modifying your genital and bodily characteristics to fit your preferred identity, no matter how much one wishes, because AFAIK, genetic engineering isn't that advanced to allow for such a extensive procedure.
