Also your appeal to authority doesn’t quite work because if the law, the parents, or the hospital were to decide they’re not going to assign a gender until later age when the person is old enough to decide, than your argument is rendered invalid. Or if it were assigned but the gender can simply be changed at any time. Legal formalities hold no bearing in a discussion of whether someone is objectively male or female.

Also, science has found that this rigid stance on sex and gender is not true. It’s much more nuanced and we don’t entirely understand it. If it truly were that simple, trans people would simply not exist. But they do, regardless of how in denial you are.

How does your self proclaimed .5 percent who identify as another gender in anyway upset this duality? How does a person born a woman who identifies as a man later on have any detriment to society?
