Nah, I'm just mocking the continued insinuations that a fucking spray of lavender oil is an attack on somebody. It's kinda refreshing to see right-wingers get riled up by a transphobe (who, all things considered, had absolutely no issue with the """attack""") getting utterly annihilated by lavender oil. :3

You're a freak if you try and stifle someone else's speech because you think their words are oppressing you.

It's like you're deliberately ignoring the part where those words help normalize the spread of hatred and violence.

But, nah, as we all totally know, words have absolutely no effect on anything whatsoever. Hitler's speeches, for instance, didn't actually help sway the German population to committing horrors in the name of the Third Reich, and nobody's been inspired by men like MLK Jr. and their speeches about equality and civil rights and shit to do good.

Yes, actually. He's exercising his rights.

You don't have a right to assault another person. Get the fuck over it.

Ah, right. It actually is okay to try and spur hatred against an entire section of society, but somebody reacting to that isn't okay. Gotcha.

I know, huh? His words are deadly. I mean, one word was over there beating the shit out of a trans person and another was over there misgendering another one.

Yeah, let's just totally pretend that normalizing hatred never ever ever leads to an increase in hate and violence.

Abolitionism in the North has leagued itself with Radical Democracy, and so the Slave Power was forced to ally itself with the Money Power; that is the great fact of the age.

Alternatively, an action as simple and nonviolent as spraying some lavender oil and glitter around might get somebody to think about why the act happened. Either way, it detracts from the message being spread, such as right now; nobody here is really talking about his message thoroughly, just the rightness or wrongness of the act of using a supersoaker to spray lavender oil on a dude.

The fact that people aren’t talking about his message is a problem in and of itself. If the glitterbomber instead demonstrated how his message is stupid, then we’d be talking about how his message is, in fact, stupid. Instead of talking about super soakers and glitter.

On the other hand, that just means now that nobody really cares about his message still. He, in effect, got his message of hate shut down.

Yes, the act of squirting him with lavender oil is very minuscule and insignificant. However, people are opposed to the idea that it's okay to use physical means to heckle someone and stop them from speaking, no matter how ineffective and insignificant it may be.

1)Rather you are or aren't trans isn't dependent on government or social recognition.

2) Rather you do or do not exist isn't dependent on rather you are trans.

There is no connection between the state or any particular group of people recognizing that you're trans, and you existing.

As far as I'm aware, no, but that's beside the point. Even if you don't advocate violence, your words can still act as fuel to a fire; in this case, his words - if they weren't put on the backburner by the fact that everyone's merely talking about lavender oil now - would've helped normalize transphobia, one way or the other. Maybe it wouldn't've had a major impact in the grand scheme of things, but it still would've played a hand. Normalizing hate, even if you don't directly call for violence, still leads to violence at the end of the day.

Fuckin' wewee. I guess it's ideology now to just try and not have people deny our existence. 10/10

Yeah, actually. Ideology was all that was at play here. Nothing more than words right up until these degenerates tried to make it physical.

Whoa, did you just come back from Gilead, Colonel Waterford? "Degeneracy" and "gender ideology" is so 20th century. And short of a theocratic coup that ushers in a fundie regime, I am afraid you can't do shit to stop the inevitable advancement of LGBT rights. Even Catholic Poland is slowly but surely experiencing an increase in accepting attitudes, as evidenced by the Warsaw Court ruling that the constitution doesn't explicitly ban gay marriage. And Romania has decisively rejected the referendum and the role of the church as evidenced by severely low turnout for their 2018 referendum.

It's almost as if subtle dogwhistles and coded language doesn't exist, along with incitement and perpetuation of nonsensical stereotypes.

Now, tell me how violating someone else's bodily sovereignty without their consent with the intention of humiliating them and stopping them from exercising their rights isn't an attack.

Explain.

Simple: it's not an attack. :3

Define "attack".

Its okay. We know you think assaulting people is justified if you don't like their speech.

This is clearly fake news.

Assaulting someone is just a reaction?

Wew.

So if my neighbor pisses me off I can go grab a bucket of ice water and dump it on them?

After all, I'm just reacting to them.

Nah, but that's because you're a right-winger. :3

I get it, sweetie. You think your right to never have your feelings hurt is more important than free speech.

My feelings aren't hurt at all, actually. Considering your harsh reaction to mere lavender oil, however, I think it'd be safe to say otherwise for you. :3

I know it's hard to tell the difference between disliking the normalization of hate and being upset about something, sweetie, but there is one.

So far as I can tell you're far more hateful than this man is.

Aight.

Violating someone’s bodily sovereignty is wrong even if they’re a tremendous cunt. Them being an asshole does not give you a blank check to in turn do asshole things.

That's just called speech, you're literally mad that he spoke.

It is just fascinating, isn't it? Torra thinks a man disagreeing with her is dangerous, but using physical attacks to stop someone from speaking isn't. Just adorable.

Yes, because we all know that SorosTM-brand AntiFA Lavender Oil is literally more dangerous than the normalization of hatred.

I don't know why you think the freaks you agree with get a free pass to be shitty human beings just because you think you're being oppressed by someone else's speech.

And Romania has decisively rejected the referendum and the role of the church as evidenced by severely low turnout for their 2018 referendum.

...and?
