So I got around to that Contra video, and I liked this bit near the end enough to type it out to share it here:

It resonates, in part because even though I lucked out in that I can pass without any medical interventions, I'm also very aware that I am halfway through my thirties and that the effects of age are only going to become more visible in the coming years. So this bit was uplifting.

As a larg person, it also helped me, too.

If I understand correctly, the ruling was made on the basis that homo- and transphobia is unconstitutional. That'd mean Bolsonaro can't just screw it up with normal legislation, he'd have to pass a constitutional amendment. He'll need 3/5ths in Congress for that, more than usual (I think). I don't know if he has the numbers for that, but at least it'll be a little harder.

Hot take: If you use the foe's list at all you use it too much.

I use it very slightly, just because two people who won't be named are too inane, self-centered, and set in their ways to be worth dealing with most of the time.
Outside of that I don't use it whatsoever, even with people who are annoying.
