While AI are certainly influenced by their makers, they need not necessarily evolve under evolutionary/survival conditions. Survival at all costs need not be their prime directive.

This is utopia and as nice as that sounds, I don’t credit any economic or political movement capable of giving that to us. If it’s manmade, it is not perfect and therefore, open to exploitation and abuses. And open to create resistance movements and instability. The perfect climate for anything to rise up.
