I kind of wish MLB had more teams in Canada tbh, or at least one in Montreal and one in Vancouver.

I say give one to Mexico. They like baseball down there...I think.

On the 100th Anniversary of the 1919 Black Sox scandal... MLB has somehow let's a domestic violence conversation influence the 2019 World Series games. And to top it off, Donald Trump has announced he'll be attending game 5. smh.

Besides that, the Nats (nee the Expos) best year was in 1994 when the season (and post season) was cancelled in September because of the MLBPA Strike. They were playing .700 ball and destroying the league. it's the 25th anniversary for that.

We Baseball fans do love our stats. Even the sick ones.

That expo team was really good. Could very well have been an. Expo - yankee. World series.

Yes, that Expo team was plain smoking in 1994 but so were the Cleveland Indians in the AL. OTOH, Joe Torre was still managing the St. Louis Cardinals in 1994. I don't think the Yanks would have beaten out that Indians team.

Agreed. It's a problem of greed. Lots of dough comes in to the then current owners for those talent diluting franchises. So fuck the fans, cause it's moneyball.

Three divisions per league is definitely one too many. Why try and copy the NFL's mistake. At least they eventually got rid of the three division thing, but they can do four bc of the nature of football whereas MLB should go back to two.

Rumor has it crop circles appeared on the Tigers outfield (lawn) this summer. Word is groundskeeper Willie mowed them down before photos were taken. All joking aside, Tampa Bay doesn't deserve a team. I hear they want to spend June, July, and August in Montreal and only play games in the Trop in April, May and September. Of course this is totally insane, but they are kicking the idea around.

Here's the backdrop for tonight's third game of the World Series. The Houston Astros down 2 games to none with a bad case of self inflicted paranoid anxiety at Washington. How fitting.

I wonder what the data tells them to do about an unrelenting mess like this? I don't know, but if they do go down 3-0 ...their server hamsters will all likely explode. If that occurs it's Hells Bells cause they are gonna lose the Series. In that latter case, why not cover this mess up further by reverting back to their original name? The Houston Colt Cult .45's and then change the name of their ballpark (Minute Maid Park) back to it's former name.... Enron Park.
