Cards offense seemed inconsistent already. Nats are really just that good – best starters in the league and a bullpen that's currently serviceable (somehow). Offense is doing what they need to do.

The Nats are gonna sweep the Cardinals aren't they tonight? It's 7-0 and we're not even halfway through the game. I so hope the Yankees beat the Astros so we could have what the Yanks and Expos failed to have in the years with the strikes.

Lame end to a decent season for the Redbirds. Our offense was awful in this series. Getting to the NLCS was a good step this year, but they absolutely have to improve on this next year.

Well, given that the Nats beat the Dodgers, a team that absolutely choked away its 3rd World Series appearance in the NLDS, it's a testament to how good the Nats are.

Fire Chapman. IDC how good his fast/curve balls are he's too much of a liability and finds the perfect time to choke at the worst moment and it cost the team dearly in the bottom of the 9th. And while we're at it fucking fire Boone.

Meaning no offense to the Yankee fans around here, I'm glad to see the Astros win. I'll be cheering for the Nats in the World Series, but I won't be sad to see either of these teams win.

If I had to pick one, I'd rather see the Astros win. I have zero respect for a team that tries to steal the Twins' and Rangers' heritage while simultaneously denying that they're the Montreal Expos.
