Err? No. It was an accident.
My comment was an attempt of humor.

STATE NEWS: 16 YEAR OLD MADDOCK READY FOR POWER. After his older brother, Stockton Maddock, was crippled by Lynk's Disease, Eli Maddock is ready to lead the nation, despite his age. Will he choose a regent or will he rule unchecked?

I'm a fairly amateur architect, but from what I know:
-The four primary support columns that support the spire appear to be completely or near-completely intact. No visual damage is obvious. That's good. Those things would be a nightmare to replace.
-The vault is compromised, but only a little bit. If it had collapsed, there would be a danger of the stone walls eventually imploding without an external pressure to counteract the buttresses. But as long as the situation is managed (and I'm sure it's being managed very closely) there shouldn't be any risk of this happening.
All-in-all, this is about as good as you could possibly hope for.

Classic tactic of the culprit, trying to act as helpful as possible in the hope no one suspects him of starting the fire but then typically leaves an obvious clue such as admitted they started the fire in their signature.

There have been multiple church fires in France lately that have in fact been linked to anti-theists. Perhaps some are Satanists ?
It could also just be a few people who were raped in the Cathedral when they were kids and have decided they now want revenge, closure and desruction of the place of their suffering. Downside of that one would be it would become harder to condemn; so I doubt it will be popular.
I'd guess it was faulty electrics, the whole place was in dire need of renovation anyway. Either faulty electrics or some lazy contractor dropping a cigarette into renovation debris.
The cathedral is owned by the state and has been at the centre of a years-long dispute between the nation and the Paris archdiocese over who should finance restoration work to collapsed balustrades, crumbling gargoyles and cracked facades.
Jean-Michel Leniaud, the president of the scientific council at the National Heritage Institute, said: “What happened was bound to happen. The lack of real upkeep and daily attention to such a major building is the cause of this catastrophe.”

I always suspect the use of angle grinders, they send so many sparks flying all over the place.

It might have been a mostly-symbolic act, but the fact that the products-of-Hajnalisation powers that be are attempting to take away even the fact that you probably did it (instead trailing off into speculation on completely unaddressed electrical faults in one of the most important heritage-listed buildings in Europe) should give you all the affirmation of your actions you needed. I believe he's trying to thank Muslims for starting this fire, since he also hates Christians, because he blames them for marriage rates in western Europe being lower than in eastern Europe, and I'm guessing this has something to do with his desire to destroy modern society and have everyone inbreed until we're too stupid to recreate it.
