Actually, it shouldn't. There's the concept of dhimmi that should ensure the freedom of religion for the non-Muslims, however, the implementation of it depends on the rulers themselves.

I suggest if we were to continue discussing this, we have to move it to the IDR thread, because this one is for Indonesian politics and general election of 2019, not for sharia law.
