Yup wait what. Although... if I wanted to play the piano while I’m eating, I can’t go to my real piano so I have to play GarageBand :(

And it’s harder for me because I never learned how to read a song sheet, the notes and all that. To play the few 1-minute songs I know I have to remember the sequence on which notes are pressed on. So I have to remember that on the real piano, too, which is much more bigger than an iPhone.

It's easier to learn on a real piano and then play that on a phone. Also, learning to read music isn't too hard if you want to try. It would just take a lot of time.

how good is your piano?

I stopped after finishing Grade 8 British exams (it was years and years ago now I'm bad)

Well I do learn some of my songs on the real piano. Sometimes I learn them on phone and transfer my skills.

And I’m going to be honest, I do not want to read musical notes at all. The trial and error method to finding out what comes after ‘this’ and ‘that’ note fits me better. I don’t want to look up on the paper everytime I play, too.

I’m just scared because I may lose this skill when I go back to school next month — we’re learning how to play the piano and to learn some modern songs, but I love the classical music I learn myself now.

It could be worse.

You could learn again! :)

That's actually very interesting. Play however it fits best for you. :) And continue playing classical music if you want to along with modern music. It's a lot of fun.

Okay, then. I’ll just have to try more everyday to save my current skills :)

When you play more, you enjoy it more. :)

I agree. Sadly, the only instrument I have is the piano so I have to go to GarageBand for the other instruments like the violin and the clarinet and that stuff...

Good to know. I hope they have a good life with you :)

Oh they do haha

Ayye same. I also like the Back to The Future and Jurassic Park soundtrack. And I listen to the triumphant-sounding Christian music, not the ones where people dance to it, just where you sing out loud.

The only time I sing out loud is when I'm home alone or at Church XD

Hah, same. Even if the music is slow and sad-sounding I still sing loud for some reason :P

I feel like almost every music genre has people singing out loud to be fair.

It does. Peaceful songs can be shouted out loud and that ruins the tone sometimes.

Gospel music is great! It's a lot of fun to sing, too.

I like obnoxiously cheery jpop and people screaming into a microphone about the greatness of Satan.

If you like video game covers, you should have a look at RichaadEB. He does hard rock/metal covers of video game music, and they're really good.

I predominantly listen to show tunes and rock.

(And DI is about as eclectic as I'd expect)

At meeting:

Manager: you can find everything up on the excel shit... sheet

(Later)

Teacher: I don’t want any drama classes

Manager: then don’t start any drama

Reminds me of how our Chemistry teacher said "this is all good" instead of "this is all not good" during a lesson about drugs.

Well, good news about today is that I'm finally fully healed up after 3 months of constantly going to the doctors. Bad news is once I got fully healed, everyone at work decided to ask me all at once to get them 10 different things throughout the entire factory for 10 hours straight. And there were 3 of us set-up people, and they kept asking me. and then they got pissed if I gave someone else their stuff before them...

Congrats to being well again!

As for them workers, I think they’re selfish... as much as I don’t think you deserve this, you should keep doing it, because it’s better than fighting.
