If you watch them again and like them fair enough that's fine. But I saw their Mozambique episode recently and it was genuinely troubling for me to hear them glossing over the very recent, unbelievably violent, civil war as basically "it's all good now" then moving onto beaches and tourist spots.

I agree and identify with this strongly, like when they did the Burma/Myanmar episode and barely mentioned the genocide and more or less treated it as a "both sides wrong"
What really grinds me gears is that they regularly refer to major geopolitical instability as "drama". Like, no, people seriously and actually died.

Makes you wonder if they do it on purpose, for clearly it is a recurrent theme with those guys.

Well tbh not everyone wants to hear about it in gory details, plus they have a short time limit to get episodes out, and the channel largely focuses on the geography, and not the history/recent events. Just saying, no offense.

You cant expect a showing off tourist spots show to be talking about war, which was my point.
If someone wants to be a tourist in a war zone be my guest. I do tours on Mondays through Fridays.

I might just leave them shut for the next few days.

Smart move - I encountered a Wolf Spider the size of my palm two weeks ago or so. Found the fucker in my bathroom sink, assumed the roommate left the door open for the umpteenth time.
Regardless, owing to it's size and how freaky that S.O.B was, I spent a good fifteen minutes trying catch it before finally managing to knock it into the toilet. I was proud the rest of the day.
