Along with the Star Wars game collection on Steam...

I'm such a pushover when it comes to these things...

Frickin I wish I had the purchasing power to get those LEGOs, be proud mate.

Its mostly the smaller battle pack sets. Though I'm starting to work my way up to the bigger sets that I never had as a child. Eventually, I'll be able to get that old Juggernaut with the light-up Mace Windu, but that's gonna be awhile...

Plus, if I converted, wouldn't I need to leave too? That would defeat the purpose of the whole exercise :P

No there is no requirement to give up nationstates for Ramadan. Surprisingly enough, neither Christ or Mohammad ever mentioned nationstates. It’s a personal choice by that poster.

Again if you are trying to improve interfath cooperation you would both convert and change to be a liberal for the month.

Well, according to conservatives, I'm a liberal, and according to liberals, I'm a conservative. I'm not sure which would be the correct way to temporarily move...

Even more surprising, because Max was 5 years their elder.

Dealing with a strong case of the "can't sleep". Thankfully that doesn't happen to me anywhere near as much as it used to.

Ah. Sorry to hear that. This is still normal awake hours for me. Most nights I don't get off work until midnight or later, and then I can't fall asleep right away when I get home.

Ramadan Mubarak! I hope you have an easy fast. Summer days are dreadfully long, especially if you live in the north, which'll no doubt make your fasts even more terrible.

I know the feeling. Getting home at 12:30 in the morning after an obscenely long work day never puts me to sleep, it's always the inverse.

Strange isn't it? Even though my body is exhausted, my mind needs time to slowly wind down to the point where sleeping is possible.

And telling my brain to shut up doesn't work. I've tried :p

This is probably a bad place to post this, but anyone know what to do when an Xbox 360 game won't download? I've tried to download Sonic Unleashed 3 times now, and every time, without fail, it will get to 79% before saying "Can't download Sonic Unleashed" and then closing.

Edit: 4 times now.

It really is. Even the Melatonin does a half-assed job when I'm trying to conk out after an exhausting day.

I tried counting sheep a few times, just 'cause we've all heard of it in movies and the like, turns out I just get super into it which keeps me alert even longer.

I tried counting sheep once. I got distracted by imagining them with unique appearances and movements, which woke me up more and kind of defeated the point.

Exactly. Generally, my new go to for conking out ahead of schedule is this shiny app called Headspace which guides you through meditation. Not sure it's for everyone, but it's helped me out quite a bit.

My brain is often so hyperactive at night that when I intend to think about one thing (like numbers of sheep) it starts wandering by the time I hit 20, and next thing I know, I'm thinking about something completely unrelated with no idea how I even got there.

It was a few pages back, but I see that you guys were talking about Discord.

To put it briefly, it's great, and much better than Skype when it comes to connecting and chatting with people. But at the same time, you have to be super careful with which servers you join. Most of the NS ones are average and decent, and some of the game-based servers (like Overwatch, Saints Row, etc.) are fine too.

Most of them stay away from NSFW stuff for the right reasons. There has also been server purges (like entire servers being deleted or looked into by the Discord staff) for, err.... let's just say something way worse than NSFW... NSFL stuff.

Also, please enjoy something that is literally Not Safe For Work. Or Not Being Safe At Work / NBSAW.

Have my Astronomy final at 4:30 this afternoon. I've calculated that I need to obtain a perfect score to get an A in the class.

I had a very odd dream last night that constellations were easier to see, even for people that don't know what the constellations look like, because they included bright lines of light connecting the stars.

Also, for some reason, brands like Nike and Walmart figured out a way to advertise by creating artificial constellations in the night sky.

Mind if I just have a quick ask about what TET threads are about? Are they just general chat threads or are they something else?

EDIT: Sorry if this is spam
