Yeah, but then all you'll see is this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barlow,_K ... ow,_KY.jpg
Oh, and when you see the Moons of Jupiter, be sure to wave. They like it when you wave and often wave back.

That's strangely creepy.

Thank ye, Farn!
I am in a really good spot in the company. I am bummed I didn't get the promotion, as I know I can do more and after an adjustment period I think I would do very well.
However, my strength lies with my animal handling skills. When there's and upset, scared, fractious dog I work with it. I'm *hoping* the reason I didn't the promotion was because it would take me away from that aspect of the organization...not for another reason. I've busted my ass for 11 years in the shelter world, I think I have the chops to go further, however!
It takes some dedication to stay that long in this emotional rollercoaster of a field!

I'm sure it is a rollercoaster and yeah, I bet it takes dedication. I certainly couldn't handle it. Still, I would ask about it, maybe next week. After all, you've been there 11 years.

Indeed. I am meeting with the shelter director next week!
But hey, you know me: I am not the biggest fan of change! haha!

Through the dark, and
Through the hunger
Through the night and
Through the fear
Through the fight and
Years of hardship
Through the storms and
Through the tears
And although your feet are weary
And although your soul is worn
And although they'll try to break you
And although you'll feel alone
We will always stand together
In the dark, right through the storm
We will stand, shoulder to shoulder
To keep us warm
And the stars look down on the mean and hungry
And the stars look down and show the way
And the stars look down and we'll stand together
To see a day
When the stars look down and know our history
When the stars look down upon our past
And the stars look down and see a future bright at last
When we'll stand as one, beneath the sun
[...]
All out together
All out as one
All out for victory
Till we've won
All out together
All out as one
All out for victory
All out till we've won!
