Didn't know Vonnegut was still churning out new books.

"Unending Massacres" sounded more like The Righteous Brothers' less successful death metal B-track to "Unchained Melody".

Ah, the fun embarrassment of realising you don't know what you're talking about. Fun times.

I've got to read up on Kurdish history more.

Combine both hobbies and buy more books while drunk.

Not that I've ever done that, or anything...

what's Kurdish?

The Kurdish people are a stateless, Iranian ethnic group comprising of literally millions of people. They were heavily oppressed in Iraq; it was in the news.

Kurdish is also a language group.

So this is like the Iraq version?

Well....yeah. Kinda. If I remember it correctly, the so-called Kurdish homeland is now located within 3 or more countries, so more reason for countries like Turkey or Iraq to oppose any form of an independent Kurdish state.

Not quite.

Palestine is recognised by 137 of the 193 members of the U.N., and by two non-member states. Many countries also have some form of diplomatic relations with Palestine.

Kurdistan has literally no country. Kurdistan is located in Turkey, Iraq, Iran and Syria. In Turkey, they've been previously forbidden to call themselves Kurdish(and 20,000 were killed, with thousands more forced to leave their homes); in Iraq, they suffered severe oppression for being Kurdish.

I suggest you read some of the links.

I don't what it is about Japanese music, but when I listen to it they are very catchy. Especially the Dragon Ball Heroes soundtrack that's on Youtube.

I’m a huge weeb, so most of the Japanese stuff I listen to is somehow related to anime. I know, I know, you don’t have to tell me I’m a huge loser nerd.

Recently I’ve been listening to the Kagerou Project, which is a Vocaloid series of songs that ties into a bunch of other mixed-media stuff.
And lemme tell ya, some of these songs freakin’ bang.
Transparent Answer is especially good. My opinion of Vocaloid went from “Meh, it’s not really my thing” to “This is SOO GOOD” in the span of a night.
