Not sure about my top ten, but Schindler's List and Life of Pi are two of my favorites. I'm not sure if that makes my taste in movies good or bad, though.

Fun fact: Liam Neeson, with this latest movie, has now officially got a movie body count across his films as the number of people he saved in Schindler's List.

Yes, there are plenty of memes casting Liam Neeson as Thanos around now.

I thought I saw it but I'm thinking of The Touch of Satan. Looks like a good film, definitely now on my "need to watch asap" list :p

Wait we talking musical acts or movies now?

If that is the case then Phil Ochs, Woody Guthrie, John Edmond, David Bowie, Anton Goosen, The Dead Kennedys, and They Might Be Giants.

Here's several that come to mind (in no particular order)

The Prestige, American Psycho, The Ides of March, Watchmen, Goodfellas, The Favourite

Guilty Pleasures(?):
Ghost Ship, Collateral, Secret Window, Django: Unchained, Fracture, Batman Returns, Punisher (2004)

Love it but also Hate it at the same time:
Wolf on Wall Street (getting the Nam style flashbacks to the law firm office)

...

"Everybody" loves them but I cannot stand them:
Pirates of the Caribbean series, Dark Knight Rises (I have a huge huge huge gripe against this movie out of the 3 Nolan Batman films, can't stand it), some of the newer Star Wars movies/spin-offs

You consider Django: Unchained a guilty pleasure movie? Why it's great?

It is.

It just seems a tad "exploitative" and "trashy" to me (but very high quality as such).

It's a fun movie, well constructed and well acted with clever dialogue and it makes me smile.

But seriously though? All those N words, the revenge fantasy wish fulfilment with the black character, the whole "hey I get a new job killing white people and ima get paid for it... what's there not to like?" ... It just seems a tad sensationalist. Mandigo fighters really?

Oh yeah, I forgot to add my other very big Guilty Pleasure.

The Alien movies (especially the new experimental ones Ridley is doing now with the Fassbender android).

There's just something that really does it for me about a bunch of space travellers going to a new deserted planet in high tech gear and equipment... with weapons and tech to study things. And then getting destroyed, mauled, and killed en mass by the aliens.

I would love to be part of such an expedition myself someday (even if I die for it)

So SITREP on the health situation:

You’re sick again? This must suck for you. I sense your pain. Don’t be depressed because there’s always people around you to cheer you up.
