That's what you get for living in a coastal city.

Don't worry. Once the swollen oceans start consuming New York (and other places), it will be a moot point anyway.

Agreed

The most recent predictions of future developments predict a world population of eleven billion people in 2100, but somehow I don't see that happen. I'm wondering if the detrimental effects of climate change were taken into consideration, or the tendency of humans to inflict large scale organized violence upon other people.

I doubt either. But we can hope for the best.

Such as a new kind of affliction, perhaps awoken from the melting permafrost, that renders the overwhelming majority of humanity sterile. Think of the massive steps that are going to be taken in the fields of biotechnology!

Ha. Went to the hospital yesterday for a check-up and I got to see my fair share of boys wearing loose shorts or wearing really really baggy shirts. Circumcision season's still around, I see.

Nice to see something for a change.

I think I just devised a new cure to hiccups — go to the toilet, bend your torso (not kneeling) and try to vomit or burp by placing your tongue in the way of the gullet/windpipe. Did it just now and the hiccups stopped.

I should try that next time. Loud noises help too.

That... doesn't sound healthy at all. Surely just holding your breath for a minute or gulping down a glass of water might work better?

I agree with the healthy part. I could choke on my tongue, but it’s working better than holding my breath or gulping down a glass of water.

1. I have a fear that holding my breath for too long makes me lose the ability to breathe. Thus, suffocation.
2. I could choke because I could hiccup when I drink water and cause it to go the other hole, down the windpipe.

Well, maybe... but now that Pasong Tirad here told me it sounds unhealthy, I don’t know... will continue to use the method, though.

And loud noises? I sound like I’m moaning when I do that. Tried that yesterday and almost woke everyone in the house up. :o

Let me also say that I’ve done this method several times and they always work.

Listening to the 1812 Overture with cannons always works, too.

The new world symphony was just on the radio as I drove home. Probably one of my favorite pieces.

I always do. But sometimes I find music that makes me want to jump up and down like I’m on drugs. So that refines my hope.

Hey, roadside advertisement makers.
Please make more signs including the shape of the country it's in.
It helps me a lot in Geoguessr.
Thank you, have a good day.

Oh, and more advertisements for provincial governors with the shape and name of the province. That helps too.

Black lives matter

Recommend me shoegaze and ambient music.
