In awe at the AI in this silly chess game I got on my phone for castling, something I've never seen any other AI do and a rule in chess I completely forget exists.

It's not even so much that they are supposed to be strong: computers are just good at chess by default. In fact, on easier settings in chess games the ai is actually deliberately hindered so that they occasionally make stupid mistakes.

I haven't checked my personal Email in about a fortnight and not taken a look at any other website social media thing in about the same amount of time. I'm now afraid to look at it and find out people desperately needed me for something 5 days ago.
