Exchanged cars with a senior colleague of mine today, just for fun.

He has an Audi A6. I now understand why some people get so many speeding tickets.

Your planning on doing 120 and wind up around 200 kph, that is a smooth and quiet car.

Usually I don't have to look at the speedometer to know how fast I'm going but in this case I usually underestimated it by a solid 60-80 kph.

I'm returning it tomorrow.

I wouldn't. I wouldn't trust myself with such a car on a daily basis. Haven't got the bank to pay the tickets.

I wish for those kind of temperatures right now. All April it's been in the 30s and it's going to me like that into most of May it seems. God it's too hot down here.

New system for receiving at work is bonkers. Before last week, it would take me sometimes as little a 30-60 minutes to receive 100 pallets of inventory of a trailer. Today, this morning, the new process took me 6 hours to receive 115 pallets.

This is true. Take a look at the maps in The Lord of the Rings. I can't recall if Tolkien did them himself or his son, but the way the mountains and forests are done is excellent. It'll be time-consuming but with some practice, you can get good at it. And then there's this: http://www.fantasticmaps.com

I’m using online tools, and just trying to figure out how mountains and climates is like going through an entire class about winds, temperature, latitudes, rain shadows, oh my...
It’s a lot to take in.
Sure, I don’t need to follow the rules of Earth to the letter (and I certainly won’t), but I’d like to make the map believable to the semi-trained eye, you know?
