And all american college and professional teams as well. The men's national team, while not one of the best 5 or 10 national teams out there, are credible representative of the country

They finished 2nd in this year's Gold Cup (north america's main tournament)

They finished 2nd in this year's Gold Cup (north america's main tournament)

I was exaggerating.
The American Empire is a socially progressive absolute monarchy run by the heirs of Emperor Norton. It started off at MT but has rapidly advanced to PMT through interdimensional travel. All NSstats are used, except for tax rate and population. Factbooks are currently under reconstruction.

wiki: 2019 CONCACAF Gold CUp
The United States were the defending champions, having won the 2017 tournament. With the abolition of the FIFA Confederations Cup, the CONCACAF Cup is annulled and the Gold Cup would not qualify the winner to a major tournament for the first time since 2009.

The US team will have to go through the usual World Cup qualifiers.
