Honestly, was there really any doubt that USA wouldn't repeat as Champions?

USA is the juggernaut of Women's Football, and this record-breaking team proved just that. 26 Goals scored (record) in a perfect 7-0-0 (record) tournament, with 18 of them scored in the Group Stages (record) is proof that USA means business.

Megan Rapinoe had a stellar performance this year, the best I have seen in the three tournaments I have watched. Without a doubt, I do believe that Rapinoe will win the Women's Ballon D'Or this year.

As an American, I will enjoy another 4 years of USA being at the very top, because come 4 years in 2023, there will be more challengers.

Germany will look to continue working with their young players as they always have done, England will still be a strong force, France will still produce great talent, Sweden and Netherlands have the players to take them far like this year, and Spain has an Up-and-Coming generation of young players that have succeeded in the U20s and U17s.

On top of that, Australia, Japan and China are always a tough threat from Asia, and Canada is our main Rival in the Americas.

But for now, we're World Champions.

its. Nil - nil at the half, very good game so far, those dutchitaricans, are excellent football team, not nearly as chippy as those swedeners.

Can confirm that "chippy" and "gassed" are not limited to New York usage. Pretty common USA sports terms, in the right context.

Well they won. Huzzah!

I thought the games against france and spain were better.

I enjoyed the tournament, it was nice to see sellouts for the semis and finals. I now look forward to the parade.
