Walked in the snow to work which was very pretty.
Enjoyed a nice coffee/music/paperwork harmony for most of the morning.
Fed the birds as they looked a bit sad in the snow.

1. I'm off for the week, sans homework and projects, so I get to sleep in! Or, well, sleep in with less guilt than I've had previously I guess.
2. Got onto the daily leaderboard for Quizarium. I studied a lot, I swear!
3. Managed to just hit the average on a test I thought I screwed up. Not too bad :)

2. Had quite a bad onset of anxiety during a meeting this morning , but I was able to figure out what had caused it and it's something I can avoid in future.
3. Got a metric shitload of admin done this afternoon.

Heh, I can't remember when I last slept for 9 hours. 5-6 is normal for me.

So:

1) I'm not tired, despite only sleeping for 5-6 hours a night for years. That's like bonus awake time, so basically living longer within the same number of years.
2) My job is hard work, but it's flexible enough and self-directed enough in scheduling that I can more or less go onto NS whenever I like.
3) I woke up this warning because my three children simultaneously burst into the room, dancing and singing.

Posting this now cause I already have more than three good things. :P

1) Got our car back~
2) Had a pleasant day at work (tricky but not too difficult. Everyone was nice and I was helpful yay~)
3) Tried dominoes pizza for my first time! (Mom hated it cause we ate in a car but y'know)
4) Had 8 small and 3 larger shipments delivered to the post office. :D
5) This thread exists

edit: Also how the heck do people sleep 5-6 hours? I barely make it with 8 hours plus a 1-2 hour nap midday rn
ed2: added number 5.

2. I went to juniors for lunch. I had a pastrami sandwich and a slice of chocolate mousse cheesecake. Which is indeed the greatest cheesecake in the world. (Jew style)
3. I tape The Rolling Stones Havana concert a few months ago and am just watching it now. I am impressed at the show they put on, and am enjoying it.

I so admire this,

People like Tolkien and C.S. Lewis could afford to drink a pint (or two) because they had walked (English call it a walk, I call it a hike) all day to get to that pub. And of course, they are hale and hearty

3) just had a fried egg sandwich. yeaaaaaah.

(3. Managed to go for a hike since the weather is no longer "tundra."

1. Managed a 2 mile run yesterday and today. Didn't enjoy them at the time but certainly felt better afterwards.
2. I bought this jar of pickled gherkins sliced longways, which means that 2 slices provide an even layer of gherkin all the way across a sandwich. This has revolutionised my sandwich experience.
3. Partner and child have gone on a camping trip as it's the school holidays while I couldn't get the time off work. I'll miss them, but right now I am really enjoying a little peace.

Sat in the sun, relaxing with some friends.
Had another walk after dinner. Should do that more often as well. Especially on work days.
