I read another chapter of the book I am reading.

I spotted a rarely found camera accessory on eBay that I have been trying to find for ages, and ordered it, for a very low price in comparison to some of the past examples that I have seen.

I got a last minute task to do at work (yes I view that as a good thing for some reason, maybe I am a glutton for punishment).

Part 2 as promised:

I am off work tomorrow.

I had a nice friendly chat with a coworker.

I managed to get back home from work just before it started to rain (and it was very heavy rain).

1: I had some fun with trivia on here
2: I figured out how to do my calculus homework
3: I finally got my car to a shop to fix a suspension issue I've had for a few months.

Well, I'm losing weight at a wildly fast pace and that's great because I'm trying to slim down but it's probably because of my thyroid being out of whack, so I guess that evens out to being a more neutral thing instead of good or bad?

1) Ran for almost an hour in the gym. Haven't exercised enough in years.
2) Made some good progress on my novel.
3) Found an old TG of someone saying it was a shame I wasn't a socialist, however I do identify as one nowadays and as such told them as such. :)

If you're under fire in the no-man's land of WW1, you start digging a foxhole even if the ideal time would be when you *aren't* being bombarded, because once you wait for it to be 'time', other situations will need your attention, assuming you survive that long. If the fields aren't furrowed, plow them. If the iron is not hot, make it so. If society is not ready, change it.

1) I've lost count of what day of the exercise I'm on, and I don't mind.
2) My third patient this morning was exceptionally beautiful. Not that I'm in a marital or professional position to do anything other than appreciate that fact, but she really had the sort of beauty that makes a guy feel good to have witnessed. I mean seriously, I should stop talking about this now, because it probably seems really creepy. But you should have seen her, man. She had the sort of face where you could stare at the curve of the bridge of her nose, or the shape under her lower lip, or a spot on her cheekbone, and just look and look and look until someone says "uh, doc, are you alright there?" Beauty is truth, and all that.
3) Sulked while losing a board game last night, which is not a good thing, but what is a good thing is that my friend's didn't mind, and they cheered me up, and we all ended the night enjoying the games and laughing about things. In other words, my friends are good company, and don't make a big deal when I'm not good company.

I think I missed a day or two, whoops.

1. I skipped morning lecture today and slept in. Don't feel particularly more refreshed, but I always love more sleep.
2. A new episode on the series I'm hooked on right now came out, I can't wait to watch it!
3. Came up with a new idea for a nation, which I think will be particularly interesting...

Ahem. Okay, here we go.

1. I volunteered, as usual, to help out at the nursing home far from my home. The elderly were happier than I had ever seen and that made my day.
2. I managed to board the bus back home as the next one was a whopping 21 minutes away.
3. I am glad I can spend time with my family. Sometimes life can suck, but not all the time.

Haha it's not a 'real' series, it's just a Youtube playthrough of a Phoenix Wright game, new videos for which are being released, like, daily. Guess it would be cheating if I put it as one of my three again tomorrow, huh? :P

Now I'm mentally trying to make this an actual sequence of causal events. :)

Hey you're gay, that's awesome! High five! Oh, you just knocked my partially dislocated shoulder back into place. Now I can catch that chicken that keeps gettin' away from me in the yard. Stew for everyone!

Swap gay for trans and this is an even better version of the events. I like you, person.

1. Visited someone in hospital who has days/weeks to live. Obviously this isn't exactly a good thing, but we had a down to earth discussion about what's happening and also normal stuff too. I was apprehensive about what it would be like and I'm very glad I didn't chicken out of going.

2. I'm running a survey for work asking health professionals and other organisations what our project does for them, their clients and their workload. Early responses coming in say some really cool things - we must be doing something right.

3. I got an out of character but absolutely fantastic hug from the destroyer of worlds on her way to the school bus this morning.

Looked through some old photos, and found some that I had forgotten about.

Played some good video games.

We are doing some circuit testing with a contractor. Its going well, its guys who I have worked with before, who know their business, and are nice folks.

It was a gorgeous day to walk around the harbor, clear blue sky, warm enough not to need a jacket.

I nailed dinner. Steaks came out perfect. Mrs mermania was pleased.

1) Got a large order from ebay shipped!
2) Came up with a very appealing and somewhat odd chord progression.
3) Got to hold the cutest little marshmallow puffshroom lovebug kitten.
Seriously, light as a feather, fluffy as a tribble, really small and had no tail,
hopped around like a bunny, and had a case of the sniffles so she snorted.

ehehe SO CUUUTE AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!
