Correct. For reference, the definition of a cult is: "A religion or religious sect generally considered to be extremist or false, with its followers often living in an unconventional manner under the guidance of an authoritarian, charismatic leader."

Nothing here about worshipping multiple Gods. This means that most polytheistic religions like mine (Hellenic Paganism) aren't cults since they don't have authoritarian, charismatic leaders, and aren't usually considered to be extremist.

He’s more moderate and will likely attract less opposition. That would allow for good ideas to be passed with less resistance from conservative Democrats and other groups that can be reasoned with. Biden and Sanders are the strongest candidates, but the Republicans go insane over Bernie’s type. Biden would allow for a quieter presidency with less idiotic accusations and more work done in the government. Also, there are policies associated with that part of the Democratic Party I don’t agree with that also don’t represent all of the party. Biden has good experience and would be a great president.

If Bernie grows a beard, I'm still voting for Warren because I don't vote on candidates based off their looks. If I did pick candidates based off who looks the best, I'd probably pick Amy Klobuchar, but she's way too centrist for me.

Too late for that now, it seems. He's been calling himself a socialist since he was a mayor. Probably even before that. And one of the things that make Bernie appealing is his consistency. His views since the 70s and 80s haven't flip-flopped, but evolved to being more progressive.

So today in high school psychology class was passing out surveys. I got 3: bullying, suicide and the death penalty. It's something the popped up in my mind and I wanna discuss it with y'all.
Bullying:
1: Does/Has bullying happened a lot in your school/workplace? For me, I wouldn't think so. I'm not saying it doesn't happen at all, but in my school I don't think it's that big.

Buttigieg was/is correct to frame the issue as democracy vs. capitalism as opposed to socialism vs. capitalism.

Realistically none of the current crop of Dems are even socialists and it's not like the average American cares about the nuance between a social democrat and a democratic socialist. None of them are trying to nationalize or create worker co-ops (which is lame as fuck) and are all working within the American capitalist framework.

Biden only looks good on the surface. Policy-wise he has nothing to offer to the young voters that Bernie attracts, and on a personal level... he's likeable, sure, but there's no way he gets to survive the campaign without getting drowned in an avalanche of harsh scrutiny over several comments and instances of weird behavior.

The thing with Bernie is that, on few occasions, he does support unequivocally socialist policies (IIRC, he's publicly supported workplace democracy). It's just that he mostly campaigns on social democrat policies.
