Hey, anyone heard of the "Balkan federation"?

The EU is close to securing the Balkans. Unless, war breaks out, I doubt anything else significant will happen. If it does, I give a good chance of Russia for getting new allies, a good chance of major escalation, and a good chance of random ethnic/religious wars. These could and likely would overlap.
I doubt a Balkan federation could be formed no matter what goes down. The only unity that might happen is western guided, provided the EU follows through with the Balkans like they said they might.

As much as I would love to see the rest of the Balkans join the EU, it is not happening any time soon. Serbia is not joining until the Kosovo issue gets resolved and the rest need serious economic and political reforms before their applications can be taken seriously.

There’s a running joke in Serbia that by the time Serbia and Albania join the EU, the only countries left in the EU will be Serbia and Albania.

Honestly don't know how anyone could remotely like Stirner's book, outside of its meme status.

It's kind of like The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy - it's ridiculously written fiction which distorts real events to a realistic degree and has very surreal subject matter. He actually presents some good ideas if you can wade through the nonsense, but the latter makes it more fun to read.
