My point is that it's not particularly relevant. What's the difference between claiming 99% do, 95% do, or an overwhelming majority do?

The only things that are trivial are those which logically follow from unambiguous facts or scientific theories (2 + 2 = 4, you will fall if you jump off of a building, etc.). Your claim falls under neither of those, nor does my illustrative claim about cockroaches being cute, so they require scientific backup to be taken seriously.

Even actual studies that are actually successfully replicated (a rarity in social justice-laden social sciences) would also have these variances. It's bogging down over semantics. The point is that I consider an overwhelmingly large quantity, not necessarily with a specific number down to seven decimals, as the trivial claim.

Yeah, but in studies, you actually have evidence-based science to support an average claim of 97% or whatever. There's no evidence here, which is the key point.
