Uh... yeah, as I said: huge self-own.

That's not even the meme, friendo.

The meme isn't just repeating the phrase "NPC" over and over.

I know. Think of the "NPC" there as a shorthand for "avalanche of image edits made with Paint".

Also, friendly reminder that the NPC meme was born from /pol/tards buying into a combination of dorky gamer LARPing, some weird spiritualistic stuff about the world having a limited supply of souls and (as usual) misunderstanding science. It's the meme equivalent of sticking a "kick me" sign on yourself.

It's almost like when someone has a really weird name and people constantly mispronounce it. You just stop caring and tune out the noise.

You'd think that's the case...

Well, maybe not for everyone. My name is somewhat weird and is mispronounced fairly often. I stopped caring years ago.

British propagandists literally had marching Nazis do the quadrille (or some other dance) by re-editing scenes from Triumph of the Will.

Their propaganda wasn't really high-brow.

Seeing as Monty Python wasn't highbrow "Boncentration Bamps, Mr Bimler etc." i don't know whether or not this is meant as criticism or a comment.
I would say that the propagandist put more more effort with how the edit was done and (Assuming that this was one piece of a short film) other such things to say something than the original maker.

I don't see how. Even Gobbels, the father of modern political propaganda, said, "If you repeat a lie often enough, it becomes the truth." (And I'd say he's worth listening to, given he was extremely adept at manipulating people.) Sure, psychological evidence is still forthcoming (and that's a fair critique--though, it should be noted that almost everything we know about the brain at this point is still considered "preliminary" due to how little knowledge we have of it), but historical evidence has demonstrated that we should definitely take heed.

It's not a criticism, I think its hilarious, its merely an observation that British Nazi humour was on the same level of maturity as making a dog do a Hitler salute. Humour involving Nazis doesn't have to be sophisticated in order to discredit and make fun of them.
