Nothing new. Plans against the Russians isn’t to stop them from conquering the Baltic’s, it is to set up a delaying action in the area so other forces can be redeployed from other areas to sustain the war effort. The Russians if fully engaged in Europe could perphaps reach Berlin in a matter of weeks. Not enough forces in the area to counter balance such an issue.

China is an even bigger monster that will not be able to be contained with their recent development across all of its military branches. Only thing I can see being an issue for them is the naval forces issue but if I remember correctly they corrected with numerous rocketeers.
