It doesn't surprise me that NATO would be trounced conventionally in Europe. This has always been the case. Effectively tactical nuclear weapons would have to be a first response.

The China situation is more complex though, as it depends who gets involved. China would lose in a wider regional conflict as it would be attacked by all its neighbors, which it has territorial claims on.

Though I'd call this fear mongering for weapons sales more than anything. It assumes the worst case, and assumes the US wouldn't launch nuclear armageddon in a catastrophic military collapse.

I don't think it would. Russia can not fight for more than two weeks, reasons being logistics, shit reserves, and economy. Soviet and Russian Doctrine has always been that the war needs to be fast

I laughed while watching Red Dawn 2. North Korea has a large military, but no method to attack us. They are basically grounded and they don’t have many specialized forces. North Korea is a joke to America, meanwhile China and North Korea can actually threaten South Korea.

Well, to be frank: no shit.

It'd be kinda hard for a nation to defends other nations half-way across the world that border a hostile nation. All we could do is mount liberation efforts later on. Thing is, we don't have to worry about going to war with either country. Beijing is economically dependant on us and vice versa; Russia would have to fight all of NATO, and while they could knock out the Baltics with ease they'd get bogged down in Poland. Europe and Asia would be on high alert in the event of an invasion of the Republic of China or a Baltic State - with the latter being an act of war against all NATO countries, as a matter of fact.

This is all assuming no nukes are involved.

Regardless, neither scenario is even remotely likely.

You're assuming Russian would even be bothered with Poland. They're not so stupid they wouldn't realise it would be impossible to get past Warsaw, let alone reach the German border. Most of Russia's efforts have been concentrated on securing control over the post-Soviet countries, which they refer to as the "near aboard." They abandoned Poland and the rest of Eastern Europe for good when they let the Warsaw Pact crumble.
