Ageism is probably the only form of discrimination that makes some sense, at least right now.

People who were born 2 and 3 generations ago quite often come with a bunch of phobic, bigoted garbage. They more often than not feel entitled in the sense that they must be wiser and smarter than younger people, even though wisdom or smarts are not something you automatically gain when you reach the brain atrophy stage of your life. Old people quite often live without care for the future generations because they won't be around anyway, and vote accordingly. And, although nobody can blame them for being less productive, they don't put any effort to be useful past their productive parts of their life because of the entitlement that comes with age.

This sounds like someone older than you wronged you in some perceived way and so to blow off steam you came here to talk about how you want to send a platoon of child soldiers to threaten them for the perceive slight. Am I not far off?

The mass of anti millennial bullshit is ageism. My cousin once said that we are the least patriotic generation ever. I told her to go to the VA and tell the Iraq and Afghan war vets that. Millenials are called lazy while working 50-60 hour weeks every week. We are called spoiled while our minimum wage is effectively half of what it was in 1968. We are called stupid with the highest number of degrees per capita. Everyone is upset we didn't buy houses and get married immediatly after the great recession.

We catch this shit from the generation who spit on Vietnam veterans. From the generation who invented being a hippy. From the generation was handed a living wage at every job. from the generation who dropped out. From the generation who caused the great recession. Gen X can talk shit (and that's all it is) but the Boomers need to STFU.

I totally agree, I was more mature then most in my teen years but I knew my boundaries too as much as I hate to say it a large portion of the current teen generation have no real idea of the world.
