I'm pretty sure the Chieftain wouldn't hold up against a T-72 famalam.

The T-72 was literally a contemporary of it.

You can also find T-72s on the market for $20,000 less than WRA's stated price of $160,000 for a Tiger lmao

Why anyone would go for the inferior metal box over a modern tank is stupid tbqh.

It's also worth noting the 160,000 price is actually kinda fair given the circumstances tbh. It's not a real Tiger (as the only real running one is 131 and that's not for sale), it's an entirely rebuilt replica of a Tiger built on a T-34 chassis. It's not like it was just pulled out of a warehouse, a lot of work went into it.

And then it'd get 1-shot BTFO'd by us commies going for the cheaper market option, ending the Neu Freikorps career in its infancy. RIP>

iirc the Kuwaitis used them to great effect to tear open Iraqi T-72's in 91, similar reports came out of Iran

Export T-72s are shit tbf.

Outside the turret frontal armor, the King Tiger could kill the T-54 even with a frontal strike from point blank all the way out to almost 2000 meters.

... I doubt it.

PzGr. 40/43 (APCR)

I started rereading Schopy's The World as Will and Representation. It's a shame that Nietzsche eclipsed him in the public mind.

We also sold stuff to Germany. Germany should have invested more in those submarines.

Lusitania was the British being dirty.
Still it made for bad optics. But I was not talking about Lusitania, she was not an American ship.
Just because something might be legally justified does not necessarily make it a good idea.
The tiny advantage Germany gained by sinking her was outweighed by the massive diplomatic cost.

But she did not cause the US entry. It was the sinking of 5 American ships in March 1917 that caused it.

The Zimmerman telegram was just unforgivably stupid. Especially when Zimmerman admitted to sending it. And the Germans should have realized the Mexican Government was not stupid enough to go for it before sending it in the first place.

Ah yes the practicality of a utterly broken engine that was less reliable than the one in T-64's.

I just came across the Neo-Nazi Hindu philosopher Savitri Devi. I don't know if I am supposed to burst out in laughter or to be just horrified by this devilish travesty. She is even more crazier than Dugin and his Fourth Political Theory. And I hope the Right has excluded her.

I really hope that Extinction Rebellion and other deep ecologists does not discover her and start to adopt her ideas.

If it does happen, the future will become an even more scarier place than during WW2

Not sure if I want to know what proverbial swamp on the internet you have to take an airboat to, to find this sort of person.

A lot of Nazis cite her as an influence, how she influenced them I don't know. Probably through her dumb belief that the caste system was racial.

Quite the plausible transmogrification, considering the occult trappings a lot of the weirder Nazis (and even some of the saner ones) got themselves up to, especially during the interwar years.

She wouldn't have stood out apart from her sex had she drifted to Germany instead of to India. In everything she said and did after the war she was cookie-cutter.

Occultism is not just a Nazi phenomenon on the right but the fascists were inspired by it as well, Evola being the most prominent I can think of. Fascism is raising the state to a spiritual level while Nazism is raising the race to a spiritual level. While fascinating to study it is also a little disturbing.

One U-Boat in 1916 versus supplying the Entente for almost the entire conflict?
