Is Orthodox Agitation Propaganda against the Ancient Romano-Hellenistic religions any different from Catholic/Protestant Agitation Propaganda? I think you will find that they were one and the same for 600+ years.

None.Nea Byzantia wrote:Protestants didn't even come into existence until 500 or so years after the Papists split the Church; and as for the Roman Catholics; they changed a lot over those 500 years. Rome, in the first 1,000 years of Christianity was Orthodox; not the other way around - Orthodoxy was not Catholic or Protestant. Never was; never will be.
Anyways, sh*tposting aside; I'm genuinely curious; which gods do you worship?

All in all is it thus any wonder that Toyotomi Hideyoshi and his followers sought out to utterly destroy Christendom in Japan?

You've absorbed unscriptural Catholic teachings about marriage and combined them with a brazen totalitarianism to produce something more resembling IngSoc than anything authentically Christian.
Well, I figure it is either that or permitting same-sex marriage. Which would you prefer?

Don't we already have a high divorce rate and widespread breakdown of families? Didn't societies in the past with arranged marriage have lower divorce rates? Your idea is bad and you should feel bad.
Memes aside, it really is a bad fucking idea, like all ideas social conservatism has come up with.Hanafuridake wrote:

Paganism isn't a proper Religion, though.

Depends on how you define what begins as a proper religion. Christianity was thought to be a form of atheism by the roman polytheists before their faith was found wanting, and a new one focused on familial values, and cohesion overtook them. So sure in a way it was ultimately proven not to be a proper religion if only because it lost out.

Myself and a few other people on NSG are Hellenists, and he doesn't come around much anymore but there was one Anarcho-Communist guy whose name escapes me atm who worshipped the Slavic pantheon.
Also Internationalist Bastard has at least some sort of interest in traditional Chinese religions and Mongol polytheism.
