You realised your mistake, so there's no problem.
I think its influence is overstated, partly by Dugin himself to appear a bigger deal than he actually is. From what I can gather Russia wants to be a superpower or regional power over the old Soviet Union and some of their goals/strategy overlaps with what Dugin himself proposes.
