The thing is, why does Dugin's book have so much currency within the Russian political and military spheres, to the point that they're trying hard to bring his depraved wankery to... undeath, I guess?

You realised your mistake, so there's no problem.

I think its influence is overstated, partly by Dugin himself to appear a bigger deal than he actually is. From what I can gather Russia wants to be a superpower or regional power over the old Soviet Union and some of their goals/strategy overlaps with what Dugin himself proposes.

I think the funniest thing in their constitution are the Aediles, basically a corporation encouraging music, cultural activities and art. Music was officially sponsored by the state, each commune would have an orchestra and choral society.

As far as I am aware you are not even religious, so I am not sure why you suddenly have such a axe to grind with my religion, but Anglicanism is based on a historical tradition daring back to the 6th century. Our official liturgy is actually older than that of the Roman Catholic Church, and there have been significant additions to Catholic doctrine since the Reformation.

Yes. Single party rule is intrinsic to fascism - and Dolfus hated political parties. The name was something used simply to fit the time. It was certainly third position though.

Interesting enough - as the austro-fascist government was set up to remedy the failure of party politics, it would be these same parties which started a civil war ( the social Democrats and communists ) and eventually destroyed Austrian sovereignty ( the nazis ).
