They’re expensive and don’t work as well.
And it’s supposed possibly to wear away someone’s skull with a stone (although painful and susceptible to illnesses) with killing them. Ancients used this to ‘stop’ disease (it didn’t work, although most medicine has always been a scam) but it could work as punishment that stays with them lifelong.

Read the whole post. I said that a hand will get cut off for stealing, yes, but Allah SWT is merciful that He'll lst you keep your other hand.

Something with a clear correlation between power and responsibility.

I'd support having a monarchy with real power along with some kind of upper house representing the civil society. Apparently Slovenia has something like this.

Also a big fan of decentralisation and confederal systems tbh.

My point is that there is an ideal form of government. It's just that 1) we haven't reached it yet, just give it time, and 2) we are a restless species, incapable of contentment, which in most cases is a strength, but in an otherwise perfect system is like a snake in the garden -- or perhaps that beat-up boy in Omelas.
